When 30 SECONDS makes all the difference.
30 SECONDS is proud to announce a brand-new three-year partnership with Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ), the legends who have been saving lives at our beaches since 1910.
SLSNZ is the drowning prevention, rescue authority, beach, and coastal safety leader in Aotearoa. They are truly unique, delivering proactive lifeguarding, search and rescue and essential emergency rescue services. They also provide a range of public education beach safety programs, member education, training, and development, as well as being a highly respected sport.
They do this all as a charity and rely on the generosity of the public, commercial partners and other funders to lead and support the incredible volunteers and clubs that deliver front-line lifeguarding services. SLSNZ is the national association representing 74 surf lifesaving clubs with 18,000+ members, including more than 4,500 volunteer Surf Lifeguards. Their lifeguards patrol over 80 locations each summer and provide emergency call-out rescue services throughout Aotearoa, saving hundreds of lives each year and ensuring thousands return home safe after a day at the beach.
“30 SECONDS is a brand established in New Zealand for almost 30 years, and we wanted to further show our support for our local communities. Surf Life Saving New Zealand is an iconic part of our country with a dedicated team that does so much for so many – so for us, this partnership is something we are incredibly proud of,” says James Pearson, CEO of 30 SECONDS.
